With its 90ha, the Polygoonbos is the largest forest area in Zonnebeke. The forest that was preserved after WWI as a forest for wood production (softwood), has through various extensions (including the Reutelbos) and forest renewal (deciduous forest) a nice variety for every nature lover. The rest and boarding point is in the parking lot next to the forest, where you can also enjoy a view of the IJzer Valley.

The resting point is accessible to everyone via semi-paved paths.
