B&B’s Patricia’s Lodge is situated in quiet surroundings. The ideal location to discover West Flanders’ hospitality. The B&B is centrally located for trips to Kortrijk-Ieper or to the coast.
Marc and Isabelle welcome you in a spacious loft on the first floor surrounded by a beautifully tended garden. Their donkey Murphy loves visitors. B&B Patricia’s Lodge is located in the Zonnebeek Westhoek close to Bellewaerde Park (1 km away).
With the B&B, Marc & Isabelle bring the world into their home. They have lots of information about the region and are an ideal starting point for hikers and cyclists. The extensive breakfast with regional products is their big asset. The choice of the name ‘Patricia’s Lodge’ was obvious. The B&B on the Westhoek in Zonnebeke is named after the street, with the monument of Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI) at the end.
On 8 May 1915, the Canadians on Bellewaerde Ridge prevented the German breakthrough towards Ypres. Numerous small and large traces in the landscape continue to refer to that First World War, especially the Second and Third Battle of Ypres. Visitors from home and abroad, but especially from Commonwealth countries, discover them from our Lodge in the green and peaceful surroundings. This tragic period of history still grips everyone. Personal stories are shared with new guests to keep the memory alive.
