‘t Baertshof offers you a rural residential stay in a quiet and unique setting. Ideal for a short family holiday or a cosy stay among friends. It is a completely renovated farmhouse with 3 bedrooms, each with a beautiful rural view. There are also 3 bathrooms available & 2 toilets.
The holiday home was originally an old farmhouse rebuilt by Emiel Baert in 1920 after the First World War. Agriculture and stockbreeding were practised there for many years. First by Emiel and later by his son Albert, who also grew tobacco.
The building in which we set up the guesthouse/holiday accommodation is the old horse and cowshed. When renovating, as many materials as possible were reused. Nevertheless, it was completely transformed into a modern and comfortable holiday home, operated by Christine (Albert’s daughter) and her husband Dirk.
When the weather is good, the large garden with its petanque court and trampoline offers a peaceful oasis, overlooking vast fields and meadows. These accentuate a unique rural location. However, if you prefer the shade, this is possible on the cosy covered terrace in the hangar, equipped with a sandpit, a swing and a ping-pong table.
A driveway separates the Baertshof from the public road. As a result, there is peace and quiet on the estate.
