The former Hazebos farmstead was renamed Waterfields by the Allied forces during WWI because the Ravebeek valley flooded due to persistent shelling, turning the valley into a swamp.
The farmer retained this name after reconstruction. He currently combines the running of the farm with a B&B and a party room.
Waterfields is centrally located between the very famous Tyne Cot Cemetery and the Old Cheese Factory. You also pick up very easily on several walking and cycling routes. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery, the tranquillity and the historical context of the site and its surroundings
