The historic castle grounds of Zonnebeke are the ideal starting point for exploring the region. Various walking and cycling routes start from the park.
Two walks have also been mapped out within the castle domain itself. The Park Walk takes you past the most beautiful places in the domain, including the Passchendaele Memorial
Gardens’. Eight poppy-shaped gardens that were filled in as memorial gardens for nations that fought in the region during WWI. Download the walking map here.
